STANDARD OIL TANK PROCEDURE
Oil tanks can be very difficult to remove due to their location, and additional buildings and extensions have been built after the oil tank was installed. Fuel tank installation experts would need to have qualified engineers to disassemble your tank on site for a safe removal.
If you wish to re-locate your oil tank to a different site on your property, they will start installation by either laying a concrete base or laying a paving slab base. If it is necessary, to gravity feed your appliance (Aga)we would construct block piers to give the correct height.
All associated pipe work from the appliance to the oil tank, whether it be in steel, plastic or copper can be dug underground or clipped to a near by wall then pressure tested to ensure no leaks. |
